We do not accept requests for a specific site number(s). Our reservation system is set up to maximize capacity and reservationists are not in control of site placement. A reservation with a payment guarantees a site, never a specific site number.
“Standard sites” are budget friendly. These are located in the middle to the back of the resort and can be closer to the interstate. Weekly and monthly discounts can also be applied if available at the time of booking.
“Premium sites” are privately owned and are all located furthest from the interstate near the lobby area and amenities. Weekly and monthly rates are not accepted on these sites.
Yes. Walk-ins are always welcome but please keep in mind that we are a small RV resort with a total of 52 full hook-up back-in sites, so we book up quickly. We always recommend calling us at (504) 586-3000 to book your reservation in advance.
We do not have pull through sites here. Our sites are all back-ins. All sites are 60 feet long and 30 feet wide, we allow 1 tow vehicle that can fit comfortably on your site. If you do not want to unhook and back-in, we will allow that, as long as you are not backed into the grass or hanging on the curbside of your site. For security and safety reasons, everyone must be backed into their site properly.
FQRV guests are allowed a maximum of 4 visitors per site per day. We are not responsible to allocate your visitors parking. Visitors may park 1 extra vehicle on your reserved site as long as it comfortably permits. Please do not allow your visitors to park in an empty site as we will automatically charge you for that site at the nightly rate or tow the vehicle at owner’s expense.
We always recommend our guests to walk to and from the French Quarter as long as it is daylight hours. For safety reasons we ask that our guests not walk back after dark but instead to take a taxi cab or Uber.
We do not provide shuttle service to the French Quarter as we are 0.27 miles walking distance. Otherwise, please feel free to ask a front desk agent to call your cab of choice.
We apologize but we do not offer ANY discounts. However, we are proud to offer numerous discounts throughout the year. They may vary from year to year but will always be listed on our website, brochure, Facebook or you may call to inquire.
We do not refund for early departures. We advise if you are unsure of the amount of days you would like to stay, please book on a day by day basis to prevent any penalty charges.
If you are on our property during inclement weather, we will keep all guests advised on safety procedures and the nearest shelters. We will provide refunds, so long as a mandatory evacuation has been enforced.
We do not offer hourly parking but the Basin St. Welcome Center located right outside of our gates offers hourly paid parking for vehicles and RVs. For rates please call the welcome center as we are not affiliated.
Although some premium sites provide outdoor tables and chairs, standard sites do not have outdoor tables or chairs. Feel free to bring your personal outdoor furniture if you wish.
We have certain tour companies that will pick up drop off here at the resort. Please feel free to ask our reservationist for any assistance with tour companies. Our agents will book all tours and make all arrangements necessary during your stay.
We have 1 condo rental available that has a kitchen, living room with a sofa bed, 1 master kind bed with bathroom & shower with a washer and dryer. The condo overlooks our beautiful pool are. Please call for availability.
You are allowed 1 vehicle per condo/suite reservation. This does not include an RV site. If reserving the condo and also bringing an RV, you would need to book an RV site separately from the condo.
Yes, we will accept your mail/packages, so long as it is sent to the same name the reservation is under and does not exceed the average shoe box size limit or weight of more than 20 lbs. FQRV is not resposible for any mail or packages that arrive after your departure. Please set up your own pick-up for packages left behind as we are not responsible for your personal mail/packages.
You are in luck! Whether you are traveling with children or adults we can provide you with plenty of rainy day activities in the Nola area, ie. New Orleans Museum of Art, WWII Museum, The Aquarium of the Americas, Outlets and the Riverwalk, Harrah’s Casino, Children’s Museum, Insectarium, City & Plantation Tours, Mardi Gras World & New Orleans School of Cooking, are just to mention a few. Please see a reservationist and they will be happy to assist you.
Yes, however your pets must remain on a leash at ALL times when being walked in designated areas. FQRV is not responsible for your pets if you leave them in your rv. We ask that you please not leave your pets outdoors overnight as their barking may disturb other guests. FQRV reserves the right to charge a $50.00 clean-up fee to guests who do not clean up after their pets.
Our resort is a 24 hour facility. Rv’s with a confirmed reservation and deposit may check in any time after 12noon. Reservationist leave at 6pm but a security guard will remain between 8pm-7am on a nightly basis and can assist you with site information.
