CANCELLATION POLICIES

***If you need to cancel or amend your upcoming reservation, please call 504-586-3000 and speak with a front desk agent on duty. We will not respond to, nor accept requests left by voicemail or email. Please be prepared to provide the same credit card information the payment was made with in order to receive any designated refund.

Cancellation Policy for Non-Special Event Rates:

  • Cancellations made more than 7 days prior to your arrival date will receive a refund to your credit card less a $50.00 cancellation fee.
  • Only 50% refund on cancellations made 7 days or less prior to your arrival date.
  • NO REFUNDS or credits for cancellations made on the date of arrival.
  • NO REFUNDS, credits or prorating for early departures under any circumstances.
  • NO REFUNDS or credits will be given to No Call / No Shows.

 

Cancellation Policy for Special Events & Holidays:

  • Cancellations made more than 14 days prior to your arrival date will receive a refund to your credit card less a one night special event cancellation fee.
  • NO REFUNDS, changes, or cancellations made 14 days or less prior to your arrival date.
  • NO REFUNDS, credits or prorating for early departures under any circumstances.
  • NO REFUNDS or credits will be given to No Call / No Shows.

 

RV SITES

  • Upon payment of a reservation at the FQRV Resort, you are guaranteed a site, never a specific site number (regardless of when your reservation was made). We do not take any requests for specific sites unless you are an FQRV site owner. Your assigned site number is the only site you are allowed to park in. Parking in sites that are not designated to you by an FQRV resort agent will result in an immediate removal from FQRV property with no refund. We do not allow more than one recreational vehicle per site.
  • No stakes or spikes of any sort are to be driven into the ground. This includes spikes for awnings, dog leashes, tents, etc. Doing so causes damage to our underlying water system.

 

RV REQUIREMENTS

An RV must be a self-contained recreational vehicle according to RVIA standards (www.rvia.org).
The permission of any RV that would like to enter the premises is at the sole discretion of the on-site manager.

Rates vary according to the season and holidays. Please call (504) 586-3000 for more information.

 

CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT TIMES

  • Check-in time is anytime after 12p.m. (noon). Please do not arrive before 12p.m. as we do not accommodate any early arrivals / check-ins. 
  • Check-out time is 11:00 a.m. and is strictly enforced! You are expected to have vacated the site by this time in order to allow site maintenance for the next camper. Guests that have not departed their site on time or notified a front desk agent will have their vehicles towed at owner’s expense by Rudy Smith’s Towing.

 

VISITORS / PARKING

Please notify the office if you intend to have visitors at your site. FQRV is not responsible for allocating your visitors vehicles. We allow 1 recreational vehicle and 1 guest or tow vehicle to be parked on your site, so long it is parked within the gray pave stone border. Parking on the grass, hanging off the curb or on another site/roadway is strictly prohibited. 

 

RESERVATIONS / PAYMENTS

Payments on reservations are paid in full at the time of booking in order to guarantee your stay. All paid reservations will receive a confirmation email stating your arrival and departure date. In order to alter or adjust your reservation, you must speak with a front desk agent and receive an updated email stating your updated paid/refunded adjustments. We only adhere to arrival and departure statuses emailed from French Quarter RV Resort to guests. 

 

Wi-Fi USAGE

Wi-Fi is complimentary for all of our guests at FQRV. Unfortunately, we are not in control of any technical glitches that may occur due to inclement weather, high volume usage, etc. Therefore, no refunds or credits will be given if this occurs.

 

QUIET HOURS (10PM – 7AM)

Please help maintain a respectful environment. Any objectionable noise will not be tolerated at any time. Inconsiderate guests will be asked to leave the premises with no refund. Generators are NOT to run at any time inside the resort due to full electrical hookups being provided at each site.

 

RESTROOM / SHOWER FACILITIES (24 hrs.)

There are four (4) restrooms/showers for guests, one of which is handicap-friendly. Please remember to collect all of your belongings after using the restrooms. The resort is not responsible for any lost items, but if someone turns in the lost items to the front desk or staff member, you may be able to find it in the lost and found. Please let the front desk agent know if the restrooms need maintenance.

 

RECREATION ROOM (7AM – 11PM)

The recreation room is available to all guests. Please inquire with the front desk for use of the large-screen TV. No guest may have possession of the remote unless permitted by a front desk agent. Private use of the recreation room is not available.

 

FITNESS ROOM (7AM – 11PM)

IFA recommends that gyms that provide aerobics, weight training, cardio, and/or Pilates should have an average temperature of 65-68 degrees Fahrenheit (18-20 degrees Celsius). Please do not ask us to adjust the temperature in the gym as we must comply to standard settings.

Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult when using the fitness room. Please do not tamper with or incorrectly use the equipment because you will be asked to leave the room and may be subject to fees.

 

POOL AREA / HOT TUB (7AM – 11PM)

No lifeguard is provided in the pool/hot tub area; therefore swimming is at your own risk. Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult. No glass items or pets are allowed in the pool or courtyard area. No running, jumping, or diving is allowed near the pool area. Please maintain appropriate behavior and be considerate of other guests.

The majority of hot tub users prefer a water temperature in the range of 100°F-. 104°F. 104°F is the standard maximum temperature, which some users also prefer. Our hot tub will be kept at a standard temp of 102°F year round. Please be mindful that weather and rain may interfere with these temperatures as we try to keep the hot tub at a comfortable level for all of our guests. Anyone that adds soap, shampoo or any other type of chemical to the pool or hot tub will be asked to leave the resort and will be held responsible for all damages. FQRV resort will not credit, comp or refund your stay due to the hot tub being out of order.

 

LAUNDRY ROOM (24 hrs.)

Credit card operated washers and dryers are located in the laundry room. We do not sell detergent or any other laundry related items, please bring your own. Unattended clothes left for a prolonged period of time will be cleared at the discretion of FQRV. Clotheslines are NOT allowed. Please follow the directions on the laundry room walls on how to operate the washers and dryers.

 

MAIL SERVICE

Outgoing mail can be placed in the outgoing mail section by the front desk. We will accept your mail/packages delivered so long as it is sent to the same name the reservation is under and does not exceed the size limit of 15x15x15 or weight more than 30 lbs. FQRV is not responsible for any lost, damaged or missing packages and we do not forward any mail/packages received after your departure.

 

PETS

Dogs and cats are allowed, but are not to be left unattended at anytime outside or overnight. Dogs must be kept on a leash no longer than 6 ft. at all times. It is the pet owners responsibility to immediately clean up after their pets. We have two (2) conveniently located doggie waste stations in the front and back of our resort. PLEASE be compliant with our pet policy and pick up all waste immediately. Failure to clean up after your pet will result in a $50 fine per violation. Pets are not allowed in the courtyard (including pool area, recreation room, fitness room, bathrooms, or laundry room). Aggressive or disruptive pets that disturb other will need to be removed from the resort by the owner. Please respect fellow guests with keeping a quiet presence at FQRV.

 

RIGHT OF ACCESS

FQRV Management reserves the right to conduct site inspections throughout the resort at any time including, but not limited to, access to each and every site for landscaping and routine maintenance.

 

VEHICLE MAINTENANCE

Vehicle and RV washing/cleaning is allowed. Unfortunately, mechanical maintenance (oil change, etc.) is NOT permitted on FQRV property. The front desk can provide contact information for a service/repair contact and RV washing services.

 

FIRES / BARBECUES

Ground fires are NOT allowed on the individual RV Sites. BBQ grills can be used on one’s site, but must be strictly watched over.

 

FIREARMS / FIREWORKS / OTHER EXPLOSIVES

Discharging firearms, firecrackers or other explosives of any kind is strictly prohibited, illegal and will result in immediate removal by state authorities.

 

GUEST’S LIABILITIES FOR DAMAGES

  • Guests shall use the resort’s common-use areas and facilities with due care.
  • Guests shall leave their site and the facilities in the state they were in before one’s arrival, taking into consideration the normal use of facilities.
  • Guests are liable to the resort for ANY damages to FQRV’s property. FQRV shall have the sole right to determine the cost of any damages.
  • Light pole being knocked down is an automatic $500.00 charge.
  • Pedestal damage is an automatic $1,500.00 charge.

 

Thank you for complying with these guest rules. Non-adherence to any of these rules is subject to fines. Your compliance in helping preserve the safety, cleanliness and quality environment that we strive to provide and is greatly appreciated.

***French Quarter RV Resort is not responsible for loss due to fire, accidents, thefts, or causes beyond their control. Management reserves the right to modify these rules and regulations and reserves the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason.***
